What we carry forward

Love becomes action.

Allyn faced multiple myeloma with resilience, hope and an instinct to lift up the people around her. The Foundation continues that spirit through care, education and research.

Care for patients and families

The Udell Family Care Fund and the Foundation’s patient relief support help address some of the day-to-day needs faced by people and families living with myeloma.

Open doors through education

An endowed fund at Tulane University School of Medicine supports pre-medical scholars in Allyn’s name.

Advance research and treatment

The Foundation supports myeloma research and treatment initiatives, including the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and clinical programs serving patients.

The work behind the name

Hope should reach people where they are.

Multiple myeloma touches every part of life. Through family-led giving, the Foundation has supported patient relief, hospice care, student scholarships and research—work that reflects the goals Allyn’s family believes she would have wanted to pursue.

Allyn’s homemade Hello Dolly dessert, layered with coconut, chocolate chips and pecans

A little sweetness, shared

Everywhere Allyn went, she brought something made with love.

Hello Dollies were her signature baked treat: a gooey, sweet mix of coconut, chocolate chips, pecans and a graham-cracker cookie base. They were one more way she made friends, neighbors, caregivers and family feel remembered.

“Allyn added love to her Hello Dollies recipe and delivered them with love.”

That generous spirit is the heart of the Foundation—and the reason its name still feels like an invitation.
