5th Annual Allyn P. Udell Hello Dolly Foundation Walk Set for September 7 at Garvies Point in Glen Cove

Glen Cove, NY – The Allyn P. Udell Hello Dolly Foundation is proud to announce the 5th Annual Hello Dolly
Foundation Walk, taking place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at Garvies Point in Glen Cove,
NY. This special community event brings together friends, families, and supporters to honor the legacy of Allyn P.
Udell—a woman whose compassion, generosity, and dedication to helping others continue to inspire action and hope.

The Hello Dolly Foundation was established to carry forward Allyn’s spirit of caring by providing meaningful,
practical support to individuals living with multiple myeloma. The Foundation helps patients with essential needs
such as temporary housing during treatment, assistance with medication co-pays, transportation to and from medical
appointments, and support with everyday living expenses for those unable to work due to illness.

The Foundation provides additional support to the Multiple Myeloma Division at the John Theurer Cancer Center at
Hackensack University Medical Center, Northwell Health Hospice Care, and the Tulane Cancer Center. Through
these contributions, the Foundation helps ease the burden for patients by improving access to treatment, care
coordination, and supportive services during their medical journey. By partnering with these institutions, the
Foundation ensures that more patients and their families receive the help they need when they need it most.

The Foundation’s impact also extends to education, with the creation of the Allyn P. Udell Creative Medical Scholars
Endowed Fund at Tulane University. This fund provides scholarship support to female medical students, continuing
Allyn’s legacy of lifting others up and giving them the tools to succeed.

“The walk is more than a tribute—it’s a way for our community to come together and make a difference in the lives of
patients who need help now,” said a representative of the Hello Dolly Foundation. “By walking with us on September
7, you're helping provide real support to real people.”

All are welcome to join the walk. Funds raised will directly support the Foundation’s mission, ensuring continued
assistance for patients and families facing the challenges of serious illness.
