Hello Dolly Foundation Creative
Medical Scholarship at Tulane
School of Medicine has been
presented to Faradia Kernizan
Faradia Kernizan is a second-year medical student at Tulane University School of
Medicine. Faradia was born and raised in Queens, New York. She received a BA
degree from Johns Hopkins University in 2012 and an MPH degree from Columbia
University Mailman School of Public Health in 2018. Prior to attending medical school,
she had been involved in public health projects that focus on health disparities in
various fields of medicine. She is currently interested in oncodermatology, medical
dermatology, as well as ophthalmology. As a future physician, she hopes to able to
bridge the gap between underserved populations and access to quality healthcare and
treatment. In her free time, she likes to read, run, cook new recipes, and go on
backpacking trips.Keep Allyn’s legacy moving forward
